Welcome to Green Peaks Counseling!

In therapy, I focus on creating a supportive and trauma informed environment where clients can feel safe and heard. My approach is rooted in building trusting relationships with clients and providing psychoeducation and evidence based interventions. It is my mission to provide clients with a nonjudgmental and stigma free environment where self respect  is promoted. I'm passionate about providing professional and compassionate care for all of my clients. I draw from experiences working in the field of Peer Recovery Services, Law Enforcement and First Responder Services, On Call Crisis Support, supporting individuals who have been unhoused,  Case Management Services, and time consulting with Residential Based Trauma and Addiction Treatment Programs. In addition to my private practice, I am proud to work for a local non-profit as a Certified Recovery Coach and a Licensed Peer Recovery Support Specialist as well as serve as an Adjunct Professor at Champlain College in the Social Work Division.

Although I have been happy to call Vermont home for a number of years, I hail from Buffalo, NY and am highly attuned to all things Buffalo food and sports. I have two lovely dogs at home who take up much of my free time but I also enjoy cooking, gardening, playing hockey,  participating in advocacy work and enjoying the beautiful landscape VT has to offer.
